Orange, CA (April 13, 2006). The exciting new Elite™ Series louverless direct-vent gas fireplaces are here. Louverless clean-face design delivers the elegance of traditional masonry with a dynamic flame, ember bed and log set that create a realistic and imcomparable fire presentation. These louverless ELDV fireplaces are available in 35", 40" and 45" sizes with natural and propane and millivolt and electronic configurations. Ranging from 25,000 BTU to 30,000 BTU throughout the series, these heater rated products offer expansive and elegant clean face looks in sizes and footprints that match our current Elite line exactly. In addition to fitting into familiar framing dimensions these products also use our popular Secure Vent™ 4-1/2 / 7-1/2 direct-vent system. All ELDV’s are top vented only.

The ELDV’s also feature a battery-backed up intermittent pilotless ignition system that can light and operate the electronic models in the event of a power failure. The unique louver less design comes with installation convenience that is remarkable. Designed and thought through with the installer in mind, these products feature many details, access panels, removable gas train components, flush mount nailing flanges and remotely adjustable air shutter settings that reduce time on the job to a minimum.
