The clean, contemporary look of stainless steel creates an attractive, durable wood-burning fireplace versatile enough for use indoors or out. Faced in durable 304 stainless steel, these fireplaces are equally at home in any contemporary indoor setting, including kitchens, and are rugged enough to meet any outdoor fireplace need. The Merit Plus Indoor/Outdoor fireplaces are dual-fuel because they are built on the most popular, best selling, builder wood fireplace line in the world and can be fitted easily with most gas log sets. With winning features in either configuration, wood-burning or gas log set fired, the stunning Indoor/Outdoor series will captivate and provide years of carefree enjoyment. Available in both 36" and 42" models, these fireplaces share a common heritage. Both use the enormously popular Security® FTF8 Chimney system. Installed indoors these fireplaces can be put under established and familiar chimney systems. Installed outdoors they can be short stacked with minimal chimney heights. Air kits are available and are required when installed outdoors; they are optional for indoor installations. Weather covers and beautiful stainless steel finish bi-fold doors are available for each model.
