ORANGE, CA (March 1, 2006) – More options and configurations are now available with the debut of the new Lennox Hearth Products (LHP) Merit™ Plus B-Vent Gas-Burning Fireplace. The B-Vent version of the popular Direct-Vent gas-burning line is identical in appearance, but adds new venting configuration choices and high-quality accessories, styles and finish treatments.

With a beautiful, detailed charred oak log presentation, clay tan brick interior and realistic natural appearance, the unit looks good on or off. Dynamic natural looking flames with deep glowing ember beds offer exceptional fire realism and soothing warmth.
The economical B-Vent system separates the room environment from the fireplace, allowing for offset venting. Flame height and heat control are also made simple with the easy-to-use adjustable gas valve.
Other benefits include a natural convection or optional forced air kit. The Merit Plus B-Vent Gas-Burning Fireplace will be available winter 2006.
