This addition to the Merit Plus Series offers all the amenities of a real fire without the need for a chimney, all accommodated in a dramatic contemporary setting. The realistic fire image, featuring exclusive Lennox Glowing Ember Crystals and a charred Split Oak log set, is housed in a sleek, modern chassis with an arresting bronze-tinted flush panel glass door.
The standard remote control and easy-to-use heater temperature settings allow you to adjust the flame and ember bed intensity for customizable fire presentation and control. And to ensure room temperatures stay consistent, the three-setting built-in thermostat cycles the standard 5,000 BTU heater/blower on and off, keeping you warm and comfortable on a chilly day.
The Merit Plus MPE-27’s standard, plug-in ready, three-pronged 110V grounded power cord makes installation fast and easy. Operation of the fireplace is also made simple with an on/off switch mounted on the unit.
Design options include mantel surround kits in painted white or honey oak finish. The Merit Plus MPE-27 Electric Fireplace will be available winter 2006.
