(ORANGE, CA) – Homeowners looking for a wood-burning fireplace reminiscent of early American hearths need look no further. The new Colonial™ wood-burning fireplace, part of the Dave Lennox Signature™ Collection, features a dramatic "high-opening" style, combined with a deluxe interior brick inlay modeled after traditional custom masonry designs.
The Colonial fireplace offers a 36 inch wide front opening, a 2 foot chamber depth and a full-size hearth. Hidden screen pockets enable surrounding material to be brought up flush to the opening, adding further to the traditional masonry look. A clean-face design produces a 36 inch x 29 inch "brick to brick" screen opening and a realistic inclined ash lip is flush with the front opening adding to the custom look. A large heavy-duty steel grate holds up to a half dozen logs at once.
Other features include built-in nailing tabs for easy installation, a standard integral damper, outside combustion air gate mechanism, and a two-wall 10" chimney system.
Options include a choice of deluxe glass doors in either black, brushed stainless steel or polished brass finishes and an energy efficient outside combustion air kit. The Lennox Colonial Fireplace comes with a 20-year limited warranty.
