The 3,700-square-foot mountain retreat features a simple roof line of low intersecting gables that reflect the silhouette of the background terrain, and offers nature-inspired interiors. Designer Mallory Mathison, working with LHP local independent dealer Builder Specialties of Norcross, GA, selected two Dave Lennox Signature™ Collection Crestline™ gas fireplaces for the interior. The spacious, 28-inch-tall opening of the Crestline fireplace offers a large open hearth with outstanding, unobstructed views of the fire in the main living room and the lower-level media room. With buff-colored herringbone brick-pattern interiors and substantial campfire-style logs, the fireplaces are also equipped with classic andirons and freestanding screens that complete the look of timeless beauty.
Two Merit™ Plus Series Outdoor “Dual-Fuel” 36-inch fireplaces — designed to give homeowners the option of having either a traditional wood-burning hearth or outfitting the fireplace with gas logs — were selected for spacious entertaining areas on the upper terrace and main outdoor level.
