ORANGE, Calif. (May 24, 2007) – Lennox Hearth Products (LHP), an innovator among fireplace manufacturers, introduces the Radium™ and Scandium™ catalytic vent-free gas fireplaces. New to the Dave Lennox Signature™ Collection, these fireplaces are ideal for contemporary living spaces, high-rises, lofts or any area where venting cannot be installed.
Boasting slim and modern presentations, the Radium and Scandium are designed to hang flat on a wall. The Radium measures 35-¼″ wide by 27″ tall and only 7-½″ deep, while the Scandium is more compact and wider, measuring 41-1/2″ wide by 21″ tall and 7″ deep.
“The thin design of our new catalytic vent-free fireplaces allow easy installation almost anywhere a gas line is available. No special framing is required,” states Robert Dischner, director of product development for LHP. “Their sleek look is much like a plasma television and the view is equally entertaining.”
The fireplaces use catalytic converter technology, which cleans the hot air as it leaves the combustion chamber. Because of this technology, no chimney or venting is required.
